Vietnamese in Woodbury, Bo Ne is the only game in town. They have been serving up fantastic cuisine since 2013. We first visited in 2013 shortly after their opening. Finally (and I must emphasize FINALLY ) returning to for lunch on a busy Friday. Seated immediately and attended to immediately, menu’s and 2 waters. Deciding on an appetizer, Spring Rolls. Pork and Shrimp with lettuce, cucumber, vermicelli noodle. Rolled in rice paper and sided with Peanut Sauce (Goi Cuon) Terrific flavor, light starter. Peanut Sauce added nice dimension to the flavors.
Our two main dishes, Fried Rice with Shrimp and Vermicelli Noodles with Chicken. Large portions which we struggled to finish (but we did!) Fried rice was light and tender. Shrimp split in half were steamed and generously used. Fresh pepper added a nice profile that you don’t find in most.
Vermicelli Noodles and Chicken> nice one bowl dish that provided all the elements to a hardy meal. Chicken super tender and was nice spiced. Sauce, a peanut and sweat sauce pulled the bowl together enhancing all the ingredients.
Bo Ne in Woodbury, excellent service, pricing reasonable, and great food. If you haven’t visited, you need to go. If you haven’t been there recently, make a trip back as you’ll be glad you did as we were!
