Sunday Brunch at Adelphia Restaurant, Deptford, have you been there? This was our first time, an unplanned outing. Very crowded, as we arrived at prime time 11:45. We chose not to wait for a seat, heading to the open bar. Which is close to all the food. Multiple stations, breakfast, dessert, hand carved meats and design your own omelet. Sized up what we were in the mood for and filled our plates, skipping the lines for the omelet station.
Breakfast foods of bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, french toast, what you would expect in a service such as this. Luke warm, and okay. Carving station we stopped for beef and had a small piece, as the carver seemed to be at his last roast of the day. Flavor was good and the aujus appreciated. Our favorite of the day was a Turkey sandwich offering with fresh lettuce and tomato on a specialty bread. Great flavor from the bread, veggies real fresh, we had two. Desserts, of cheesecake varieties, brownie and a pineapple turnover, all winners.
Very long lines that were frustrating to navigate with the set-up of the service locations. Food was okay, with a couple of standouts. $40.00 for two before tip and drinks, expensive outing for okay. Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, let us know your experience!
