Inside the Revel Casino is American Cut, a high-end Steak House. Menu offers a few other dishes of seafood, lamb, veal and chicken as well. Restaurant dimly lighted, brighter if located toward the front of the restaurant. Service is top-notch, waited on quickly and very attentive throughout the entire meal. Ordered their Corn-flake encrusted crab cake and Caesar Salad off the appetizer section, plenty to make a full meal. Also tried the Beef Short-Rib and ordered sides of twice-baked potato (3-large halves), Brussel sprouts that was a special.
Short rib served in a large pot was tender and very flavorful with a terrific rich sauce. The brussel sprouts, shaved with kale, super balance and very mild. Twice-baked potato’s, huge halves, creamy and rich, perfectly cooked, the best potato reviewed on this site. Crab cake with the corn flake on the outside was interesting flavor addition. Large lump crab was delicious and perfectly cooked. Salad, chopped and made at the table, huge flavor from the dressing and fresh cheese. A halved egg was also in the salad that honestly we tried but found unnecessary.
American Cut is a white cloth restaurant and a great stop if you are looking to impress.
