5/15/15>  It looks as if Angelica’s is no longer in business 🙁

Up for a new place? Angelica’s in Barrington eat in, take out or delivery they have an extensive menu that is sure to please. Delivery is what we decided on and arrived in the 35 minutes promised.

Angelica Chicken Panini> Ordered on the Ciabatta bread, chicken, provolone, bacon with lettuce, tomato and spinach with honey mustard sauce. A fantastic sandwich it was, chicken moist with fresh vegetables, the spinach a great addition to the sandwich that added great flavor. The only issue, the bacon could have been a bit crisper by personal preference. Came with a side of fries. The Ciabatta was a super choice if I do say so myself! You can get it on a roll but glad I didn’t.

Roasted Pepper Chicken Panini>Also ordered on Ciabatta bread, chicken with roasted peppers and melted provolone cheese. This was another fantastic tasting sandwich. The chicken was flavorful with an abundance of peppers and melted cheese. The only downside with the sandwiches was that I expected it to be pressed in a Panini style. The roll was delicious even if it wasn’t toasted.

On the side, we ordered chicken tenders which also came with fries and broccoli bites. The tenders were crisp and cooked perfectly. The bites also cooked very well with plenty of broccoli and cheese inside. The order came with a container of ranch that complimented the appetizer nicely.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the take out from this establishment. The staff was very pleasant on the phone as well as the delivery person at the door. The menu is extensive with some very interesting sounding pizzas, Stromboli’s, “fat” sandwiches, as well as pastas. Next time I plan on eating in at this pizzeria and hope to find that the food is even better.

Love them

Super place for some fast takeout! The Angelica is my favorite! Last trip I did get a cheese steak and it was just as good. Love it and I keep it local.

Got their mushroom, onion and swiss burger which also had lettuce and tomato (?) Roll did not hold up to the task of housing the burger with additions. Mushrooms were few and of the canned variety. needed more cheese and onions too! Lose the lettuce and tomato.

Your review pushed me to give Angelica’s a try. Everything sounded yummy! We ate in and ordered a plain pizza with half peppers and onions and an order of fries. The pizza came after we munched on the fries for about 10 minutes. Pizza was tasty but the only problem was that the dough was so thin. When you get a piece, all of the cheese slides off and onto the tray. What a disappointment! Again the food was pretty good and I will definitely try one of their sandwiches next time. Also, there is no restroom for patrons to use or to even wash hands. The owners were very pleasant and eager to please.
