The second visit Good Food New Jersey has made to the Lamp Post Diner, today was breakfast. Looked over the large menu and honed in on the “build your own omelet” . We stepped a bit out of the usual, with the additions to our omelet, feta, olives and mushrooms. Sided with turkey sausage, hash brown potatoes and choice of bread.
Breakfast was out in about 10 minutes. Large portion of both the omelet (3-egg size) and plenty of potatoes. Omelet exactly how we imagined we we picked our ingredients. Well built with the Kalamata olives and mushrooms spread throughout. Feta was used perfectly, a terrific omelet. Potatoes were a bit boring needed some more crispy ones. Turkey Sausage was juicy with excellent flavor.
Service was attentive and friendly throughout. New Jersey Diners is the Lamp Post the best? What are your thoughts?
