Returning nearly 2 years to the date we found Carney’s unchanged. This top I ordered cheese steak egg rolls and Mussels in a Red sauce, both appetizers. The Mussels in Red were the star, sided with bread, needed more to sop up the sauce a sit was very good! Cheese Steak Egg Rolls, decent flavor, a bit greasy. Service inattentive throughout, had to ask for the check after waiting quite some time.

Original Review:

Old school bar with a modern pub menu. Sat at the bar and ate in and also did some take-out. Ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese, came with a small bowl of tomato bisque. Large chunks of fresh lobster with each bite. Nicely married with Brie and mozzarella cheeses. Finished off with basil and Russian dressing. Well balanced with the exception of the Russian dressing being unnoticeable. Grilled cheese was excellent without the flavor of the dressing. Tomato Bisque had rich flavor and was enjoyable.

Our take-out order Asian Wings (boneless). Sauce was stated as a glaze, was used sparingly, and had little flavor. Chicken was breaded which sucked up the glaze making them soggy. Would not be inclined to order again if I was to go.

Service was friendly and fast. Pricing with a bar drink came in at $28.00.
