no longer in business 🙁
Quick unplanned lunch-stop at Cavallino Nero Italian Restaurant and Bar, we went with a mostly traditional bar food order of Wings, Cheese fries, Italian Hoagie, Mozzarella Sticks and strayed away with the French Onion Soup. The mild wings we ordered had an exceptional kick to them considering they were mild. Meaty, crisp a very good offering. The cheese fries were very crisp with loads of flavor. Cheese was baked on and they used a metal serving platter which kept them hot the entire meal!
The Italian hoagie, plenty of meat and cheese on a flavorful roll, nothing to shy you away from getting again. The French Onion Soup served in a crock was a perfect interpretation, full flavored broth with plenty of onions, simply loved it. The only downside was the Mozzarella Sticks which seemed to be of the frozen variety, far too much breading with little flavor.
Quick, friendly service! The bill came in at under $40.00, worth a stop if heading down to Atlantic City.
