Friday night take-out had us checking out Charlie’s Famous Steaks & Hoagies. good-sized menu with “Signature Sandwiches” we ordered one from this section,  Kickin Chicken Parm. Marinated chicken breast with marinara, melted provolone, grated Parmesan, hot pepper relish, and oregano. “GREAT” signature sandwich this one should be dubbed. Chicken was tender with terrific spicing. Very well-balanced marinara and with the hot pepper relish adding a nice warmth without being hot. 5-Star performer.

Cheese-Steak with fried onions and sweet peppers> nice interpretation. Meat was moist and had good flavor, roll was fresh. Nothing notable to stand out from other cheese steaks we had.

Cowboy Burger> Good construction that looked very tasty that is where it ended. Burger had little flavor, and was very dense. Frozen? We would not get this one again.

Wings> we tried Charlies Sweet @ Savory. Overall very good flavor of the sauce, the wings were meaty and perfectly cooked (not breaded). Definitely would give Charlies other sauces a try.

Cheese Fries and an order of regular fries closed out our order, both very crisp even after delivery. They gave us free order of their Funnel Chips, drizzled with chocolate, reminding us of the beach, awesome.

Overall Charlies Famous Steaks and Hoagies was a satisfying experience. The Signature Sandwich Kickin Chicken Parm will have us trying more of this menu section. Minus the burger we rate them a high 4. With the burger, Charlies comes in at a 3. We still would recommend highly avoiding the burgers.
