Bistro style restaurant, Classic Asia has a large menu that includes all the classics and more. We stopped by for a visit to check them out on a recommendation from another local restaurant owner.
Immediately seated and waited on we started with an appetizer of Fried Pork Dumplings. Eye pleasing presentation, 6 dumplings that were crisp with a flavorful pork mixture.
Entree’s, General Chicken, Seafood Supreme and Hunan Chicken. Each entree showed the culinary expertise of the chef in the presentation. Seafood Supreme, a plentiful mix of scallops, shrimp, calamari, lobster and crab sticks (imitation seafood). Small lobster tail split was delicious as well as scallops and shrimp. Lobster sauce was tasty and not over used. The calamari got a bit lost n the dish as did the crab. Enjoyed the vegetable mix.
Hunan Chicken, lightly battered white meat chicken. Marked spicy but we found more on the sweeter side. Variety of peppers balanced out nicely. General Chicken, a staple of the American Chinese restaurant we found to be above the norm. Excellent flavor on the sauce. Crispy and well proportioned with the broccoli.
All the above came with a choice of soup, we chose the Wonton which was very good.
Service friendly and efficient throughout. Restaurant very comfortable and also BYOB. Pricing reasonable for what we found to be very good food.
