Old Style bar and restaurant with plenty of table space. We stopped on a Tuesday and on Tuesday’s it is Italian Night, a large all-you-can-eat for only $13.99. We chose the buffet and also ordered off their dinner menu.
The buffet had all the traditional offerings you’d expect, meatballs, lasagne, eggplant parmesean, etc.. The highlight of the buffet was the Mussels in marinara, very flavorful sauce, nice sized mussels that were cooked perfectly. Sides of soup, salad and bread included.
Off the menu we started with an appetizer of French Onion Soup. The soup looked beautiful with the baked on cheese on top of the crock. Breaking through the cheese we found the broth to have little flavor 🙁
Our entree, Chicken Cordon Bleu. Two large pieces of chicken, moist, perfectly cooked, well balanced flavors and the right amount of ham. Loved how they cut the chicken into mid sized pieces. Baked potato, salad and veggie came with the meal.
Very friendly fast service, pricing very good with the entree and meal bill came in at $45.00. A nice stop if you heading home from the shore on the backroads or are in the area. In our ranking system they fell in at 3.5 stars, we gave them a four as their very friendly, attentive service was 5-Star.
