Warm and inviting, the two best words to describe Ellia’s restaurant. Service was friendly and prompt, we do advise making a reservation. Sitting near the warm fire on a chilly fall night our expectations were high! We ordered 2 entrée’s the Peanut encrusted Sole, and Penne Bolognese. Our favorite of the two was the Penne Bolognese. Rich flavor is what we found in this traditional dish. Pasta was al dente as we like, just a great interpretation. Peanut encrusted sole, the fish was cooked nicely, the flavors from the peanut oil, wilted brocoli rabe greens and sauce did not blend well. We also had a side of brussel sprouts that were very good, with a chinese influenced flavor.
Ellia’s, a beautiful restaurant that was comfortable, warm, and romantic. The food we found to be good we expected more.Entree pricing range from $19-37. We would definitely return as the overall experience was above average.
