Opening day of restaurant week in Atlantic City found us at Gallagher’s Steakhouse in Resorts Casino. White cloth dining in beautiful surroundings. Restaurant week menu smartly displayed outside entrance along with some other information on the week at this location.
Three courses for a fixed price of $33.16. Off that menu we ordered the, Boneless Prime Rib and the Pan Roasted Sea Bass as our entrees. Appetizers: Crab Bisque and the Artichoke, Arugula & Radicchio Salad. Closed with Chocolate Frangelico Cake and Apple Bread Pudding.
Both appetizers were large servings. The standout, the Crab Bisque. Huge crab flavor in every spoonful. Salad, basically a salad nothing notable to say we loved or didn’t.
Boneless Prime Rib, a thick cut that was cooked to our request. Excellent flavor and spicing. a perfect cut of meat. Sides of garlic mashed potato very good.Vegetable Medley was okay we weren’t overly crazy about the char.
Sea Bass moist but having a nice crust on the outside. Topped with a walnut butter that added a nice dimension. Sweet potato mash were creamy, very good flavor.
Our desserts both well presented, saying you’d have a favorite of either impossible. Decadent, silky desserts of baking genius. Restaurant week was well represented at Gallagher’s. We did have a reservation and arrived on-time at opening. With others waiting seemed a bit confusing as to who should get seated first. Ours at 5 we were seated at about 5:10. Overall a very good dining experience. Restaurant week runs for the rest of the week so get on down and enjoy great food at a reduced price.
