Second visit to the Golden Dawn, another breakfast visit. Service again was solid, pricing as competitive as the last. Ordered a Santa Fe Omelet (with egg-beaters). Black Olives and tomatoes. Nice amount of moth, omelet had excellent flavor. Also cam e with fried potatoes that we found to be average, lacking flavor. Also one tomato piece was from the stem end which was not edible. This visit okay bringing down from 4 to 3 stars.
A rare posting from GFNJ on a restaurant from out of normal NJ stomping grounds. Stopping by to grab some breakfast in this Pennsylvania Diner we found ourselves devouring a spectacular Eggs Benedict. Perfectly cooked eggs, constructed as you would expect, it was all about the Hollandaise sauce! They nailed it, this was no diner cook in the kitchen, Flavor and texture, the cook is a CHEF, perfection!
Pricing very good, $6.99 special, that included side of potatoes. Stopping at 4-stars merely because of only sampling one item.
