Our second visit to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, this time visiting late evening. Seated immediately, service was a bit slow getting the menu to the table and drink order. After service improved and was to task the rest of the way. Menu, typical pub style menu that seemed to not have changed since our last visit. Decided on the Pub Spots, Wedge Salad, and Lobster Mac & Cheese. All came out as requested together, and were presented well.
Pub Spots> Beef cooked medium was very juicy and mildly seasoned. Balsamic Red onions were sparing and didn’t get the balsamic part of them. We added the peppercorn bacon and found it fine but think I would skip again as it was a bit chewy for my taste. We found them good, and probably would get again.
Lobster Mac & Cheese> ordering the small portion, plenty for one. Creamy as you would expect, we enjoyed. Lobster: some of the pieces very large (whole Claw) some may enjoy them large, we found them cumbersome needing a knife to cut up.
Wedge Salad> It’s hard not to like a wedge salad, simple to the point this one was very good. Super fresh Iceberg lettuce, small bits of bacon and rich flavor from the dressing, definitely a good pick for lighter eating.
