September 3, 2015> GFNJ stopped by yet again for a third and fourth visit. What drives these stops? Good food and great pricing in this resort town.Getting two burgers for dinner, both had fantastic taste and were well-balanced (with  coupon came in at $18.00 with drinks) In the morning we stopped for breakfast, 10% off with our previous receipt from night before. Very busy in morning we waited about 15 minutes from seating to delivery of food. Omelet a cheese omelet that was smartly presented, a bit too much cheese for our taste. 2 Egg’s over easy, were cooked as asked and tasty. Both came with sides of potatoes, they were just okay nothing notable. I am not so sure we’d go back for the breakfast but, the burgers are bangin!

July 26, 2015> Our second visit to this location, we dined inside. Service was friendly and fast considering it was packed with customers. Ordered an Original Burger with cheddar, lettuce onion and pickle. Burger certainly a 100% fresh! Fabulous flavoring, perfectly cooked beef that was well-balanced with add-on’s. Roll soft and fresh held up perfectly to the task.

Route 66 Burger> Same great ground beef with mushrooms, fried onions and Swiss. Fantastic Burger and balance, on the same wonderful roll.

Added a side of fries that were just okay. A bit mushy for our taste, would like them crisper.

Overall a great visit, pricing very reasonable for a resort location.

Heading for the beach we stopped by Johnny Rockets, ordering at their “to go” window. Promised in fifteen minutes, we waited only about ten. Ordering a grilled cheese and a bacon lettuce tomato, both coming with fries. The fries were thick cut and remained crisp during our short trek to the beach.

Grilled Cheese> grilled but the cheese was barely melted, enough said. The BLT was a home run, perfectly crisp bacon and well balanced with the lettuce and tomato.

Famous for the burgers, we chose the above and discovered the grilled cheese is not infamous. Overall better than a McDonald’s stop. Pricing came in at under $14.00

FIRST VISIT RATED a 3 out of 5.
