Kitchen 519 “Modern American Restaurant”  This title graces the top of the menu. A simple explanation to what they offer, though there is nothing simple about their menu. Kitchen 519 covers it all from land to sea, all with their unique twist. This twist takes their food to levels unseen at most area restaurants.

We started off with the “soup of the day”, today’s was a Tomato Crab. Nice blend of flavors, loaded up with crab. This is not your typical crab (lets spice it up with old bay) soup. Tomato’s shined through just a bit to overtake the crab. We did enjoy the overall taste, and were off to a great start!

Ordering off the burger section, went with the Cuban and the Mac & Cheese Burger. The beef was of superior quality (certified Hereford Beef), perfectly made. Cuban, pickles, mustard aioli, swiss and sopressata. Great balance of flavors that were a great addition to the hamburger. Served on a thinner style roll that tasted great and held up to the task of housing the burger.

Mac & Cheese Burger> Superior quality again, perfectly balanced with the bacon and Mac & Cheese. Fresh lettuce and tomato topped off this new love of my life on a pub style roll.

Great pricing, with two Iced Tea’s bill came in at $37.00. Excellent service, super surroundings, and terrific food, Kitchen 519 should be a regular stop.

October 10, 2014> In the area we were compelled to stop and try more of Kitchen 519’s menu. We started off with the Crab Nacho’s, large serving that had good amount of crab on each nacho. Cheese perfectly melted with some jalapeno diced nicely and placed in the middle for those who did not like the heat. A great starter that we followed up with some expertly made Fish Taco’s with a slight bit of added heat were very good. Tropical Burger was just like the first time on a fantastic roll, meat fresh and cooked exactly the way we wanted. Greens, onions and Mango, the Tropical burger was a winner. Again another fantastic experience and the service was friendly, prompt and courteous.
