Haddonfield, New Jersey home of fine French cuisine. We discovered this fact after visiting Le Cafe Creperie on Kings Highway for breakfast/lunch. The feeling of being in Paris greets you in sight and sound on entry. We were seated immediately and looked over the menu for a short time. Deciding on a Signature Crepe, the Bonjour, and Crepe Benedictine.
Bonjour> Egg Whites, spinach, mushroom, onion and Swiss Cheese topped with a bechamel. Very light crepe that was balanced. The creamy bechamel was perfectly used. I loved it and allowed my partner to have one bite, which was enjoyed. I wasn’t about to give up more. Sided with portion of fresh greens and dressing. A wonderful dish!
Crepe Benedictine> You may have guessed by the name, Le Cafe Creperie’s version of Eggs Benedict. Another light crepe that also had awesome flavor, crepe was served under thin cut smoked ham and gorgeous poached eggs. Topped with a house special sauce that was similar to hollandaise sauce. We liked, but the Bonjour stole the show for us.
If you want to sneak off for a quick visit to a Paris cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner Le Cafe Creperie is the place!
