Visited the LongHorn Steakhouse chain for dinner at their Deptford location. Waited a few minutes for a table, but once seated our drink orders were taken and all that was left was deciding on what to eat.
Started off with an appetizer, Crispy Blue Crab Bites: lump crab meat that was breaded and fried on a bed of roasted corn and peppers. Served with a citrus remoulade sauce for dipping. Simple and delicious were the crab bites. Just enough breading to hold the crab but not enough to detract from the sweet blue crab, Dipping sauce was good but enjoyed without just as much.
Renegade Sirloin & Grilled Shrimp> Sirloin was thick and mildly seasoned. Excellent sear that allowed the juices to flow when we cut into. Perfectly delivered as ordered, medium. Sided with grilled shrimp on skewers. Large shrimp, well seasoned, nicely displayed on a bed of rice. With choice of sizes on the steak you are guaranteed to be filled.
Our second entrée Parmesan Encrusted Chicken> Large breast cut of chicken, encrusted completely in a delicious blend of flavors. Chicken perfectly cooked, it doesn’t get any better than this for the chicken lover.
Choice of sides with entrees we went with baked potato and baked sweet potato, both serviceable. Choice of salads we chose house of Caesar. Both salads were fresh and enjoyable.
Overall a very good experience, with service being friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing under $70 that included two bar drinks. We did feel a bit rushed as salads and entrée’s came out on the heels of one another not giving us time to finish the salad. Check out Long Horn Steakhouse and lets us know what you think!
