Classic New Jersey diner with all the expected menu items, and tons of breakfast offerings. We stopped for lunch at this very busy diner. The service was friendly and on-time, from ordering to meal at the table about ten minutes.

We ordered the opened faced Grilled Chicken Portabella Sandwich. Came with lettuce and tomato on side, fries and choice of soup and dessert. Soup we picked the Manhattan Clam Chowder. Huge chunks of celery, onion and potato that was unappealing and not easy to eat. Clams, very few (tiny pieces) floated in the tasteless broth. Was it chicken? Would not recommend.

Chicken Portabella> Chicken and good sear on and was nicely seasoned and super moist. Mushroom, a bit over grilled, red onions needed a bit more grilling. Presentation was opened-faced but somewhat a hot-mess. Flavors were good despite some of the flaws. Picking around the overdone mushroom and, under-cooked onion we still found good flavors. Fries mushy!

Service was above average, food needs some work. Get rid of the Manhattan Clam Chowder recipe! Pricing what you’d expect from a diner.
