“The Best Mexican Food in Town”, the statement on the menu did not stand up when we dined here. Placing your order at the counter, the waitress delivered to the table in about ten minutes. Ordering Taco’s, Chicken Enchilada’s, Steak Fajita’s and the Chicken Quesadilla, all coming with beans and rice. Both the Enchilada’s and Quesadilla were over-loaded with cheese and had little chicken. The Steak Fajita came with three tortilla’s which left you with enough left over for a fourth. No worries as the steak was very tough and would not have desired a fourth anyway. The beans had a good flavor but had the texture of a pudding with no whole beans.
The star was the taco’s, great flavor of the beef/cilantro plenty stuffed in, downside a bit hard to eat. Service was friendly and efficient. The total bill came in at $43.00, which was reasonable but with Taco Bell down the street, a bit high if you were to compare the two, the better buy would have been Taco Bell.
