Recently opened in the Town Center Shopping Complex is Oxtail Pho & Banh Mi. Stopping in after the normal dinner time hour we were easily seated. Warm and inviting restaurant with a friendly staff. Drink order taken we were left to look over the very extensive menu. Started off with an appetizer A.2 Cha Gio Chay (Vegetarian Spring Rolls). Deep fried thin dough that was very crisp. Tofu, Wood Ear mushroom and Glass Noodle, spiced perfectly and sided with a peanut dipping sauce. Excellent flavors, fantastic sauce, highly recommend and we are not vegetarians!
P6> Pho Duoi Bo (Oxtail Noodle Soup) Huge bowl of comfort. Pleasing presentation to the eye and a wonderful fragrance of spicing for the smell. Expertly made we enjoyed every spoonful. Oxtail tender and flavorful. Our second entrée N5> Hu Tieu Thai (Shrimp Pad Thai) Rice noodle stir fried with Shrimp, egg and tofu, bean sprouts. Topped with peanuts and a house sauce. Shrimp were excellent, tails left on would rather have seen off. Spicy House sauce that slowly took us to where we could eat no more. Well made and presented.
Service very good as they tended to us throughout and were quick in delivery of food to table. Pricing reasonable as our visit came to about $23.00. Comfortable and modern location near the Atlantic Care Hospital and Stockton University. Check out Oxtail Pho & Banh Mi and let us know when you go!
