Hungry for dinner and motivated by a coupon sent through the mail, GFNJ visited this newly openly food stop in Cherry Hill. Thinking the name stands for “Pretty Darn Quick”(which the wait time really was), it actually stands for “People Dedicated to Quality”. For a quick stop food place, the quality was much better than other famous named places. The main focus is on chicken but turkey is also an option for tenders, nuggets, salads, and sandwiches. Also, on the menu are sides of fries, regular or zucchini, coleslaw and cookies.
We chose the tenders with a side of fries, and a Buffy Bleu chicken sandwich with a side of blueberry coleslaw. The tenders could have been either grilled or crispy, we chose crispy. The were cooked well and offered a side to dip into. The fries seemed old, dried-up, overcooked and flavorless. I could have done without them. The Buffy Bleu sandwich was a strip of chicken with buffalo sauce and lettuce on a brioche bun. The sandwich was wrapped to ease the task of eating. While the flavor was wonderful, it was difficult to eat with such large pieces of chicken falling out. The star of the meal was definitely the coleslaw. I never would have thought to put blueberries in coleslaw but this decision was an absolute winner. While the pieces of slaw should have been cut much smaller, the flavors of the spices added to the fruit was again wonderful! As an add-on, we ordered a chocolate hand spun shake. A nice thick shake that ended the meal well.
If you are looking for somewhere to eat quick, PDQ is definitely a step above the rest. Good overall flavor for most of the meals.
