Our second visit to the Edison location, this time with a small group. Seated immediately our waiter arrived shortly after to take drink orders. The table ordered Fish Taco’s, Beef Taco’s, Wings (Jalapeno/Honey) Chicken Sliders and Asian Chicken Bowl. The food arrived in under 15 minutes hot and ready to dive into.
Both our guests ordered the Taco’s and seemed pleased. Quantity of 3 for each they devoured with little conversation. Fish had a “bit of a kick” and “very good” the only two comments.
Wings were a new spicing combo and should stick around. Excellent blend was a shade sweeter than hot which was fine with us. Skin on wings super crisp perfectly cooked moist chicken. Again like the first time, fantastic wings.
Asian Chicken Bowl> Large serving of rice, broccoli, carrots and chicken. Spicy Thai sauce that was spicy! Rice took on much of that sauce. Chicken tender and good flavor. Very enjoyable dish but it did need some type of cooling addition included as the entire bowl had the Thai sauce.
Chicken Sliders> Crisp chicken that was very flavorful, bit of an extra crunch with some added veggies. With a bit of cheese and fresh roll, simply an excellent slider.
Service very good, pricing in line with similar restaurants. Quaker Steak & Lube will continue to be a stop of ours when in the area.
