They had fantastic food, but our understanding is that it was poorly managed. We will miss their Dry Rub Wings.

New restaurant opening soon in Glassboro, New Jersey that will be sure to please Rowan University students and anyone who enjoys terrific food! Our sneak-peak review, the first for Rodeo’s Wings N’ Things most certainly will not be there last. Meeting with the owners and some of their staff we learned one clear message from their words and food, quality is fresh food, never FROZEN. Their food offerings stood tall to this simple standard that will be sure to make them a success in Glassboro.

Starting with their wings we sampled four Rodeo’s Original Dry Rub, Teriyaki Sweet Chili Lime, Mild and Honey BBQ. Huge wings (again not frozen!) each being tender and meaty with a perfect crispness to the skin. The two standouts the Rodeo’s Original Dry Rub a SECRET mix of spices that only the owner Tony prepares, a stellar blend that offered great flavor that might take me to dry rubs forever if I can figure out how to duplicate. Teriyaki Sweet Chili Lime, sweet, spicy and tangy terrific blend of flavors perfectly balanced.

Off of there Kick Starters Menu we tried the recommended Garlic Knots, Sweet Potato Fries and the Buffalo Chicken dip served with nachos.

Sweet Potato Fries were served with a warm cinnamon and brown sugar dipping sauce. Crisp thin cut fries that were flavorful on the inside. The dipping sauce combined was like taking a trip to Thanksgiving dinner at Mom’s!

Garlic Knots: Warm with a diced fresh garlic sauce poured gently over the top an unbelievable lightness to the appetizer considering its big flavor.

Buffalo Chicken dip: thinly shredded chicken in a warm  tangy buffalo sauce where you get chicken with each dip. Super freshly baked (not bagged) nacho chips that were very light and a great compliment to the dip.

Off the salad section we tried the Antipasto, a House salad mix of red onions, tomatoes, green and kalamata olives, roasted red pepper, mushrooms, ham, Genoa salami, pepperoncini, fresh mozzarella and provolone. Huge offering with all the ingredients being cut to equal proportion. Huge flavor a dinner in itself!

New York Style Pizza that should be quickly re-branded Rodeo’s Style Pizza. The crust, crisp not too thin held up to the fresh veggies we had on top. Adding just the right amount of sauce allowed the veggies and cheese to shine, a perfect blend of ingredients.

Chicken Waldorf Hoagie, super fresh locally produced roll, bite sized chicken. The apples, raisins, walnuts distributed evenly throughout so you got all the flavors in each bite. Also trying one of their wraps, we chose the unique Asian Orange Chicken, lightly breaded and crisp chicken with orange/ginger couscous. Nicely balanced and great texture a very original wrap.

They do burgers! Offering 12 kinds named uniquely (celebrating their family) all are sure to please. We tried the Blue Mushroom Burger off the Stuffed Burger section. Yes I said stuffed and WOW was it. Packed with huge flavor, the beef  is hand selected and ground to Rodeo’s specifications is only the start. Blue Cheese stuffed it pours out flavor (we needed a BIB!) Topped with mushrooms and Cajun mayo this is Gourmet eating at its BEST!

Super dining experience and a great staff will make Rodeo’s Wings N’ Things a winner! Check back often as the Grand Opening is coming SOON!

Waldorf Hoagie

Had their Waldorf Hoagie, sure was delicious. Very fresh and tasty on a wonderful roll, side off soup hit the spot.

Wings and knots

Have had all their wings in a few trips love them and the knots are killer

Bleu Mushroom burger was simply outstanding! Really enjoyed everything about my newest favorite restaurant!!!

Coming From Bellmawr and loving Carmens Hoagies ,I have to say this place made the worse hoagies and fries I have ever had, I won`t be going there any more ..

Best wings in Gloucester County

Rodeo’s has the best wings in Gloucester County! Saw a article online in the south jersey times that had a poll/voting on best wings in Gloucester County. Rodeo’s wasn’t on the poll as the narrowed down there choices. More like narrow minds! Rodeo’s are the BEST!

bad pizza worst service

Only reason they get 2 stars is for good wings.placed a phone order went to pick it up 30 min later and it was just going into wasn’t even busy.went back 2nd time got more of the crust is way to dense and just not good

Luv this place

Been here a few times and the foods great! Usually get the pizza but last time I tried a hoagie, very good and BIG. The buffalo chicken dip is out of this world!

good food!

Really loved the pizza! Service was a bit slow, but very friendly! will be back.

Great wings

Have to be the best wings I have had in years! Definitely will be heading here often on Sunday football days!

We’ll be back for sure!

Stopped by here while we were in the area visiting and tried the wings and a wrap. Both were really good. I had the dry rub wings, which I think were some of the tastiest I have ever had and my wife got the Asian orange chicken wrap which was also delicious. As a matter of fact it was so good we went back for supper on the deck a couple days later and got a pizza and a burger, both very good again. Oh, and the fries are hand cut fresh every day they tell me and you can really taste the difference, a lot like the ones at a county fair that everybody loves. We will come here again next time we visit.
