Sushi, Chinese, Japanese and Thai these the options at TAO. Formerly the Asia House, little has changed in the decor and the food is still very good. The all-you-can-eat is no longer and the ordering is now easier with a extensive menu (that is descriptive). We started off with an Egg Roll and the Spring Rolls. Both well made and prepared perfectly, we enjoyed them.
Philadelphia Roll> sushi with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Smartly presented, perfectly made, excellent flavor. Serving was 6 pieces, sides of Wasabi and soy sauce.
General Tso’s Chicken> Crisp chicken that was very moist. Sauce thick with rich flavor. Another large portion.
Seven Wonders> Another nice presentation. Lobster, scallops, shrimp that were fresh and expertly cooked. Chicken, beef and pork, three more wonders. We enjoyed the beef and chicken. Pork was a bit dry and did not marry well with the brown sauce. Shredded crab topped the dish, was a little lean on the crab that was more like imitation crab meat. Veggies were crisp and balanced the meats out perfectly. Overall a dish I would get again.
Pricing reasonable with bill coming in at $38.00. Service was friendly and checked on us often.
