After exploring New Hope we stopped by The Dubliner on the Delaware to grab a bite. Comfortable location with table seating to go along with a nice sized bar. Seated immediately we looked over the menu and decided to start off with the Kerry Spinach Dip. Nice sized starter of artichoke hearts, spinach and cheeses, topped off with bleu cheese. Sided with corn tortilla chips. Easily a starter for 2, we tore through the creamy goodness. Flavors were mild and blend was perfect.
Our main meals, a Grilled Chicken Cheese Steak and a Vegetable Burger. We modified our Veggie burger, removing the spinach. Portobello Mushroom, topped with grilled onions and roasted peppers, along with lettuce and tomato, bleu cheese crumbles. Solid offering for the Vegetarian or the lover of the portobello.
Grilled Chicken Cheese Steak, served on a round pub style roll. Melted cheddar, onions and mushrooms. Chicken was tender and nicely spiced. Mushrooms were used a bit sparingly, cheese was a bit clumpy. Breaking the sandwich down and eating with a fork made it an easier task of eating. Both sandwiches sided with crisp french fries, that were tasty.
Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The Dubliner on the Delaware, a good stop for a beer, sandwich or meal on your next visit to New Hope.
