Good Food New Jersey was driving through Pennsville and discovered The Graystone Cafe. Modern decor, walk up and order counter service, serving a variety of lunch items and coffee. Ordered off their Classic Sandwiches menu section the Chicken Harvest: chicken and mayo with apples, Craisens and toasted walnuts. Choice of bread and extra’s, such as lettuce tomato and onion. We chose lettuce and tomato. Chicken was deliciously moist and married well with other ingredients. Toasted wheat bread definitely the way to go as it gave a nice texture. A superior sandwich that we highly recommend.
We also had a cup of Creamy Tomato Basil, one of their soup offerings that is currently available on Tuesday’s. Creamy and Rich, wonderfully balanced soup that is the best we have had in quite some time.
The Graystone Cafe has seen their share of awards receiving the “Best of Lunch of Salem County” in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. To that list you can add Good Food New Jersey Top Pick 2015, fantastic food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, it gets no better.
