Visited the Greene Turtle Sports Bar, arriving at lunch time. Seated immediately, sat at a comfortable booth. Other seating also available, bar and table. Extensive menu that covered what you would want from a sports bar. Wings, a must have at any sports bar. the Greene Turtle offered a nice variety, Sauces: Blazing Hot, Kinda Hot, Mango Habanero, Kinda Crabby, Buffalo Garlic Parm, Maple Jalapeńo Bacon, Mild, Thai Chili, Cajun Ranch, Smoky BBQ or dry: Salt & Vinegar, Maryland Style. We decided on the Thai/Chili Wings. Hot to the table, sided with celery and our choice of bleu cheese. Wings cooked through, skin had no crispness. Sauce very mild, didn’t get the chili part of, needing some kind of boast.
Our main dish Fish Taco’s which came sided with a small fresh salad and house dressing. Blackened tilapia seared and served over a marinated avocado slaw and topped with sour cream. Tilapia was very good! larger sized pieces that married well with the slaw. Sour cream addition leveled out the seasoning of the tilapia perfectly. Salad was fresh, with a very good house dressing. Nice presentation as well.
Meal with two adult beverages came in at $35.00. Service pleasant but long periods of having nobody checking on. Especially waiting for the second bar drink, ordering when tacos delivered not getting until 3rd taco almost done.
