Recently located on Haddon Avenue The Kitchen Consigliere’s new location has a great feel of openness while remaining warm and comfortable. Trying them out with a few guests we started off with a Anti-Pasta. Enough to easily satisfy three, a mix of meats and vegetables all with fantastic flavor (loved the mushrooms), great presentation.
Three main dishes, Veal Marsala, Gnocchi Consigliere and The Crab, Shrimp and Scallops over linguine. (Graciously my guests gave me a sample of each of their dinners) The Veal Marsala was tender with large fresh mushrooms, the Marsala sauce was rich in flavor complimenting not over powering. The Gnocchi, stuffed with ricotta was a home run! Perfectly made, fabulous flavor, (not your ordinary gnocchi was a thin housing around the ricotta). Crab, Shrimp and Scallops, same rose sauce as the gnocchi, perfectly cooked seafood and plenty of it.
Closing out with dessert (all homemade) Tiramisu, Red Velvet Cake and Cannoli with Pizzelle all fantastic. Of the three, the Red Velvet Cake stood a shade above as the icing was rich and mildly sweet.
Super surroundings, fantastic service, tremendous food. Average meal around $21.00. The Kitchen Consigliere a 5-Star experience in every aspect.
