Looking for a quaint, comfortable, eatery while in Haddonfield? The Little Tuna is that destination. Visited for dinner on a weekday, seated immediately and promptly waited on. Menu, seafood as you may expect in the name, but also a few steak entrees as well as a chicken dish. We started off with an appetizer, Oysters Rockefeller and a Lobster Bisque. Lobster Bisque a creamy delight. Large pieces of lobster, rich flavor, an excellent bisque. Oysters Rockefeller, six in all came well presented. Flavorful oysters and nice balance of ingredients. Did have a few pieces of shell in two that we did not catch until we bit down. A distraction, but didn’t prevent us from enjoying.
Main entrees, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat> four extra large shrimp with a heaping portion of crab which was fantastic. Simple and excellent we thoroughly enjoyed. Sided with mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed green beans. Nina Capri Crab Cakes> what makes them “Nina Capri”? An incredible combination of honey goat cheese, spinach and roasted bell peppers. Huge crab cakes (2) of large chunks, zero filler, terrific flavor. Balanced perfectly with the topping ingredients, simply wonderful! Same awesome mashed potatoes and green beans sided.
Nice location with a friendly staff and very good food. Check out the Little Tuna, and if you get there early (before 630) you can take advantage of a nice early bird menu offering. Our bill came in at about $80.00
