Our #divebarnj tours third visit, Tom Fischer’s Tavern in Haddon Township. Large “L-shaped” bar with some booths on the perimeter, and a deck area outside. Seated ourselves and a waitress/barmaid was quickly over to take drink orders. Small menu with all the typical bar food. Decided on a starter, the Sampler, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and wings. Wings your choice we went with mild. Delivered to the table in about 10 minutes, sided with a marinara sauce and sour cream. Wings were lightly breaded, sauce was very good, perfectly cooked wing that we would definitely get again. Only downside a bit on the smaller side. Potato skins were also very good as were the mozzarella sticks, a terrific start to our visit.Tom Fischers menu

Chicken Cheese Steak> starting off with a seeded roll that was super fresh and delicious, it doesn’t get any better in the land of steak sandwiches. We added fried onions and mushrooms and they weren’t shy using. A GREAT, I repeat GREAT chicken cheese steak, I have never had better. The Beef Steak Sandwich, little else can be said that wasn’t said about the chicken, another very good sandwich that was expertly made. Steak Haddon TWP

Chicken Italiano> Roasted peppers and provolone cheese added to a juicy chicken breast. Roll was fresh and tasty, holding up to the task until the end. Loved the addition of some parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top of the roll. All three sandwiches sided with potato chips that were nothing special and would rather them serve a small bag of Lays for freshness.

Service was fantastic throughout the entire visit. Pricing $45 that included a few draft beers. Tom Fischer’s Tavern simple and to the point, we recommend a visit as we are sure to come back for some very good bar food.
