Val’s is a relatively new restaurant located in Sewell (former Neenas) with a menu that certainly can satisfy all. If it is pizza or gourmet ravioli the choices are the only obstacle you will encounter. Immediately seated by the friendly staff the waitress was quick to arrive taking our drink order. Delivering the drinks with some hot bread and garlic knots she took our order, we ordered two meals off the special menu.Crab Ravioli in a tomato blush sauce and Salmon with Pumpkin Ravioli in a Maple Walnut Sauce.

The Crab Ravioli (6) had a large amount of crab inside, remained firm, with the sauce scattered with additional crab blending the entire dish together. Although the dish had an overall great flavor, there was a bit too much sauce. (extra bread?)

Salmon with Pumpkin Ravioli: The Ravioli had a nice sweet flavor and the maple walnut sauce was a perfect complement. Would have liked the same glaze over the Salmon as it was cooked well with a nice sear but lacked flavor in comparison to its partner ravioli.

Crab Ravioli

The Italian side of it, Chicken Parmesan was a HUGE portion for the price. Cooked perfectly can’t say much else other than excellent! Started off with a cup of Crab soup that had a great taste reminding me of some of the great crab soups you would find in Maryland.

Great Food, great service, nice atmosphere at a very good price, that is what it is all about 🙂

Good food!

I have visited Val’s on a few occasions and they never fail to please. Terrific food, and good service. My go to restaurant

Thank you for visiting us and leaving your comment 🙂

Will go back again

Val’s seafood in Sewell New Jersey. We originally where going to Philadelphia to get some food but decided to not take the trip over the bridge. We had driven past Val’s many times but had never stopped. I am happy we did. The atmosphere is casual and there where family’s with children and couples there on a Friday night. We got a white pizza with broccoli ( with intention of taking home lots of left over pizza) and my wife got the blackened salmon. The piece of salmon was approximately 9 ounces and cooked to perfection, it came accompanied with red bliss potatoes and a medley of fresh veggies. Over all the food was great, service fast and friendly and the atmosphere perfect for quality time spent with loved ones. For the quality of the food the prices where very reasonable. We will go back again soon
