Stopped by for a quick bite, being seated immediately but waited about 5 minutes before drink orders were taken. Large menu that had full dinners, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, everything you would expect to find at a New Jersey diner.
We ordered a Philly Cheesesteak, Philly Cheese Steak Wrap and the New York Wrap. All coming with fries, coleslaw and choice of soup. New York Wrap, stuffed with corned beef, swiss cheese and coleslaw, well made with good flavor and the right amount of Russian dressing. Had a bit too much coleslaw as the bites toward ends of wrap all slaw.
Philly Cheese Steak Wrap> great flavor with a very good balance of onions and mushrooms. The Cheese Steak, plenty of meat with great flavor, the cheese was kind of bulky in the sandwich as it was not melted. Fries very crispy and served HOT!
Seafood Soup> Tons of large clams and nice large pieces of potato, was on the salty side and should be named accordingly “clam chowder” as clams was the seafood.
Friendly service in this basic no-frills diner, priced on the higher side.
