Old school diner with some modern upgrades, the Woodstown Diner has plenty of seating, table, booth’s and counter. Ordering a breakfast of Beef Gyro/Feta Omelet and Scrapple. Omelet came with choice of toast and fried potatoes. Omelet was large (3 eggs?), with nice bite sized pieces of the gyro meat throughout that had excellent flavor and was very tender. Nicely balanced with the feta, a perfect start. Potatoes a large portion that were very crispy and did the job. Scrapple, they understand how to cook this! Nice and crisp on the outside, flavorful inside and cut to a perfect size about half-inch.
If you are in the area or like me love the New Jersey Diner, the Woodstown Diner should be on the list. Pricing was very good, got out under $15.00. Service was fast and free refills on the coffee. Only negative, the knife that I was given didn’t look all that clean, I didn’t need anyway as the buttered the toast.
