On a morning stroll of Cape May we came upon Zoe’s Restaurant and stopped by for breakfast. Eat inside or outdoor street dining, they also offer to-go for those on the run. Ordered a Western Omelet, that came with a side of potatoes and choice of bread. Egg was thin and folded over inside was a large amount of ham/onions/peppers all diced small. Nicely balanced, very good flavor.
Side of potatoes were none that we have had before, in flavor and presentation. Cut in triangular wedges, about eighth of an inch thick. Crisp on the outside, creamy inside, tossed in a bit of basil. No grease at all! As you may know, breakfast potatoes rarely are a subject of positive reviews by Good Food New Jersey. Most, if not all times we find them flavorless or greasy. These without question are the best we have had at any restaurant or diner.
Very good food, excellent and friendly service, Zoe’s is a place to add to your must list of dining in Cape May.
Second visit on August 28, 2015 just as good as the first. “The best pancakes in Cape May” their sign boasts. I don’t know if they are best, but they were darn GOOD!
