Warm comfortable location offering authentic Mexican cuisine. Visited for dinner ordering enchiladas and a Cod/Chorizo dish off the daily special menu.
My starter, bacon wrapped shrimp with a mayo chile de arbol mayonnaise lime dipping sauce. Gigantic shrimp 5 in all can easily be an entree. Perfectly cooked, well presented a fantastic start. Cod/Chorizo- In a red guajillo chile sauce that offered a mild bite. Cod about 6 oz, nicely seared flavorful. Chorizo crumbled throughout was lost in the sauce. Served over rice, and sided with beans.
Enchilada's- Your choice of protein we went with chicken. Choices of Sauce ours Red guajillo. Beautifully presented and tasty, sauce was a bit bland maybe next time Ill go with the tomatillo.
Service on the slow side, but we were in no hurry. Nice BYOB location.
