On the scenic route towards Atlantic City you will find the quaint Gilchrist Offshore Restaurant, Multiple locations in the southern Jersey Shore area Gilchrist is known for their pancakes.
Thin crepe like, they are light and spectacular. We have visited this location quite a few times over the years and it never disappoints.
Arriving around lunch we did get a order of blueberry pancakes and a Ruben Dog.
Large offering of delicious pancakes that went down easy.
Gilchrist are hands down the "best pancakes" that exist in the southern NJ area. Ruben Dog was split and grilled leaving a nice crust. Add on of Swiss and kraut balanced perfectly.
A fantastic dog.
