Lunch time visit to the long established Jimmy Buffs Italian Dogs.
Multiple location franchise, our visit to Kenilworth. The start of lunch we had no wait. Order at counter, name called when order is up. Booth style seating, and a good amount of for dining in. Menu, see below. Hot Dog, this is why I was there for sure! Beef Dog 1/4 pound, topped with my choice of kraut and fried onions, mustard. Dog deep fried, crisp outer casing, juicy inside. Very mild in flavor, the dog was over shadowed by the kraut and onions. Roll super fresh. Sided with Chili Cheese Potatoes. Russet potatoes sliced thin. Very tender and flavorful potatoes. Chili, mildly spiced. Cheese, 2 slices of cheddar under chili partially melted. Overall good flavor, served warm, would prefer hotter. Service friendly, pricing under $15 with drink.
