Visited Palace of Asia in Maple Shade for dinner, with reservation. Other New Jersey locations in Lawrenceville, and Kingston. Maple Shade is a BYOB . Gigantic menu that is detailed but no "spice ratings" Our waiter was excellent in providing us direction on what was hot or not.

We went with a Tandoori Combination for Two for $49.95. Chicken and lamb were the featured meats. Also available Vegetarian, and Fish Combinations for same pricing, coming with rice, choice of dessert, and drink. Excellent presentation and all was delicious. Chicken was very tender and nicely spiced. Plenty for two, we took some home.

Chicken Tikka Masala had a nice kick to it and was fantastic over our rice. Soups Tomato, lightly spiced but on the richer side of tomato flavor. Our other soup was an "Anglo-Indian" recipe of split pea soup, Mulligatawny. Similar texture and flavor of lentil soup. Desserts, traditional Gulab Jamun, milk and cheese balls served warm in syrup was superb. Kulfi Authentic, Indian Ice Cream with pistachio and cashew nuts had nice flavor.

Excellent service throughout and a fantastic experience was had by us and our dinner companions. Playing it safe as we did with a combo a great way to dine Indian with little experience, Check them out and let us know when you go!
