Riberto's Italian & Seafood Bistro in Kenilworth was our Thursday lunch destination. Seated immediately in an inviting/comfortable dining area. Attended to immediately, we looked over the lunch menu, deciding on an appetizer and sandwich. Large menu of many Italian favorites, with twists (Riberto's Special) on select items. Our appetizer, Clams Oreganata. We love Clams Casino which is also on the menu but we decided to try something we would not normally get, or see on a menu for that matter. Clams beautifully garnished and plated, six in all. Bread crumb blend topped the whole clams, lightly broiled off. Incredible flavor profile that enhanced the clam which was very flavorful and tender. I would say that given the choice in future I would opt for over casino. Warm bread delivered, I sopped up the juices/butter/lemon sauce. Great start to the lunch!

Clams Oreganata Chicken Parmigiana- Riberto's Special offered with this item and we went with. Sandwich add-on Ala Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese on toasted Garlic Roll. These ingredients is what makes the Riberto's Special, and WOW! Tender lightly breaded chicken, an incredible sandwich that had me thinking the best ever! So with this thought in mind, I boxed half of the large sandwich and brought home for maybe dinner later. Showed off the picture to my spouse, who is also Italian and educated in what Italian food is all about. Opening the box she takes a bite to try, and within what seemed like seconds the half and my dinner was gone. The statement "That was the best chicken parmigiana I ever had", then a wipe of the napkin. (Please note she also ate cold). We both agree that the combo of the sauce, garlic bread was an incredible deviation from the norm. Riberto's took what can be a ho-hum offering to spectacular heights. Beautiful location, very good service, and awesome food. Riberto's Italian Seafood Bistro & Steakhouse for lunch or dinner, a great place to get your Italian on. I can't wait to return maybe for dinner to check out the large dinner menu. Don't forget your wine, as they are a BYOB!
