Terrific views of the Delaware River, delicious food, and excellent service, the RiverWinds Restaurant nails them all. Seated with my other guests at a table with good views of the Delaware. Menu, a lot of steak and seafood options, with the special of the day also being a filet mignon with red potato mashed and asparagus. My order, New Zealand Rack of Lamb with red bliss mashed and broccoli rabe, that I switched out for asparagus. My choice of salad a Caesar that was a large fresh offering.
New Zealand Rack of lamb, suggested by waitress a "medium rare" the best option, that I did go with.Herb Dijon crusted rack of lamb topped with a port wine demi glaze, bold and delicious combo. Perfectly cooked, the new Zealand Rack of Lamb was a superior offering that would bring me back again. Sides of Asparagus and mashed were spot on.
Closed out with a delicious version of Limoncello Cake.
Quietly my guests at the table cleared their plates of Filet Mignon, Asparagus, and Red Bliss mashed. And commenting when done how delicious it was.
Very good service was provided throughout. RiverWinds in West Deptford, they lived up to the hype. I look forward to a return!
