Visiting the newest Shake Shack in Marlton, New Jersey came with a plan. Avoid the huge lines! So I arrived on a Monday, 11 a.m. Checked out the menu board quickly coming to the decision,

Single burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, small fry, and a Shackcago Dog, (their take on the Chicago Dog). Paid, handed a pager and off I went to get my drink and table. My order was put together in a little over 5 minutes. Burger- Fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, nicely balanced tasty fried fresh beef patty. Super soft Martins Potato Roll a winner! Amazingly little to no grease. Fantastic would be the rating on this burger. Sided small fries, crinkle cut were crisp with big flavor. Shackcago Dog, 100% Vienna Beef Dog, Shack relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt, mustard. Everything that a Chicago Dog is. Overall, the split and fried dog was lost a bit as the dog was heavy on onions. The cucumber pickle offered some texture but little in flavor. A good dog overall after a few personal adjustments. Counter service very friendly, food to tray was quick. Bill came to $16.51 with a small drink. Hip, modern location that is sure to please young to old.
