Stopped by Taqueria Los Güeros for a quick bite while in the Bloomfield area.
Location housed in what seemed to be a former diner. Bar style seating by the window. Ordered at counter, served in less than 5 minutes. Torta, pork was our choice. Roll a Portuguese style was terrific. Light, more crust than bread, housed our succulent pork perfectly.
Delivered to our seat a variety of toppings, onions and hot pepper mix, chili sauce, lime and a salsa verde. We piled them on our first half of the torta. Delicious, but certainly a "hot" sandwich. Scaling back on the second half, added chili sauce, onions and peppers.
Big menu of all you'd expect at a Mexican restaurant. Service very friendly, and fast. Pricing with a drink under $10.00. I look forward to a return when I can get same on a Glazed Donut.
