Our second Indian Cuisine experience this month found us in Egg Harbor Township at The Nizams. Seated immediately we looked over the menu with beverages coming. For our appetizer we had Tandoori Mushrooms. Cooked in their Tandoori Clay Oven, mushrooms were large and spiced nicely to a medium heat (hot side description for those not into heat). Delicious cooling sauce was sided. Large enough to share.
Tandoori Rack of Lamb> Delivered to the table on a cast iron pan sizzling with red and white onions garnishing. 5 Chops in all, coming as requested medium rare. Tender, and lightly spiced and little fat. Delicious and one that every lamb lover should get.
Malai Kofta (Vegan) > homemade cheese, vegetables and potato balls in a cashew gravy. Very satisfying plate and well balanced.
Sided with rice which we also used the cashew gravy generously. Big list of Vegan options as well. Garlic Naan a big portion for two offered fabulous flavor.
Very nice location with excellent service. Pricing reasonable (a shade over $70 after tip) for a large amount of food.
