Visited Tavern on the Lake early bird timing for dinner. Seated outside we didn't get much of a view of the lake. With the right available seating it is a nice view.
Started with French Onion Soup. Beautifully melted cheese over the crock, one for the food magazines!
Breaking through the cheese was a fantastic rich soup. Just the right amount of onions, and cooked perfectly. One of the best we have had!
Entree's> Blackened Shrimp Wrap. Loaded with lettuce it was a battle to get shrimp in each bite. More shrimp and less greens would improve on the wrap greatly.
Sweet Chili Chicken Taco> Chicken, was on the dry side with some of pieces being dried out. Overall flavor was good as we did enjoy the spicing.
Service was attentive and friendly throughout. pricing modest, with beverages (1 adult) around $35.
